Some thoughts
The article gives a very amusing analogy between football and contract drafting and concludes that the case is a valuable lesson for any business that may have similar provisions in agreements with suppliers or clients.
I agree and would suggest that imprecise drafting can have a significant negative impact on a party to a contract in a multitude of scenarios. Of course, in some circumstances, imprecision can work in favour of one of the parties. The trick is to know when the wording is imprecise.
