Richard Jenkins
Founder
​
Claric’s founder – Richard Jenkins – is a Chartered Governance Professional with over 30 years’ experience of providing legal support, specialising in Commercial Law, Company Law and Corporate Governance. Prior to founding Claric, Richard worked in the Education, Pharmaceutical, Contract Catering and Professional Services Sectors. He advises on business/company structures and all aspects that arise from within including commercial contracts, sale/purchase of businesses/companies, joint ventures and much more. Clients are welcome to contact Richard on any area of law as, if it is outside his area of focus, he may be able to refer to one of his contacts. In his spare time he loves sport and enjoys cycling, walking, travelling and rugby (as a spectator these days).

Henry Smith
Legal Associate
​
Henry specialises in drafting and reviewing contracts and other legal documents for universities and small businesses. He is eager to assist small companies and individual entrepreneurs who may not otherwise have access to legal support. A graduate from the University of York with a degree in Law, Henry has spent time studying in Singapore and working in the US. In his personal life, Henry enjoys writing, cooking and the outdoors.

Adam Sutherland
Legal Associate
​
Adam is the most recent addition to the Claric team and brings several years’ experience from the defence and higher education sectors after graduating with a degree in Law from Oxford Brookes University. Adam advises universities and small businesses on a range of agreements, from research collaborations to share purchases. In his free time, he enjoys cycling, DIY projects and spending time outdoors with his young family.

Sue Hearn
Administration Executive
​
Sue Hearn is the Administration Executive at Claric providing admin and marketing support for Richard and Henry. She originally comes from a medical background so she is well versed in dealing with people from all backgrounds with all sorts of different issues making her an invaluable part of the team. Clients are welcome to contact Sue on any matter relating to Claric as long as she isn’t out enjoying her passion for cycling or eating cake at a well-deserved tea stop!
