Collaboration Agreements

Collaborative (or consortium) agreements are written agreements between two or more parties that contribute to a project. The parties may consist of individuals or organizations. A collaborative agreement defines the rights and responsibilities of each party in the collaboration and provides remedies for conflicts and disagreements.

Why is it important?

Unlike other commercial agreements which often provide for one party delivering goods/services and the other party paying for such, collaborative agreements often provide for two or more parties making contributions other than just cash. The agreement protects the interests of each party and will include such things as duties, deadlines, IP protection, monetary issues etc.

How will Claric Legal help

Each collaboration tends to be unique and Claric can draft a bespoke agreement according to the needs of the client.
